Grinder Guide
Overview
The Grinder works just like a traditional 3-piece grinder, with a top and middle section that grind when rotated and a bottom section that captures the ground herb. The Grinder Top and Middle are magnetically secured together. The Jar is held onto the Grinder Middle by a silicone gasket, and is removeable by simply pulling it away.
The Funnel
The Funnel part is inserted into the bottom of the Grinder Middle. It directs ground herb towards the center, and should be kept installed inside the Grinder when grinding directing into the Handpipe or Waterpipe Bowl.
If you plan on grinding into the Jar only, then remove the funnel.
Grinding Tips
Remove stems from your herb before loading dime sized pieces into the grinder, packing them into the teeth around the rim and not in the center.
Once herb is packed into the Grinder Middle, place the Grinder Top on top and turn it while pressing down. Keep turning until the Grinder Top spins easily, which indicates herb has been ground and fallen into the Jar. Keep the Grinder veritcally oriented so that herb falls straight down.
Using with the Waterpipe Bowl
First, insert the Funnel into the lower portion of the Grinder Middle.
Place the Grinder Middle onto the Waterpipe bowl, so that the silicone snugly attaches around the outside rim of the bowl. Pack nugs into the top portion of the Grinder Middle then place the Grinder Top onto it and turn to grind. Once the Grinder Top spins easily you'll know the hern has been ground. Take the Grinder off the bowl, giving it a small shake while it is still above the bowl to release any herb that is in the Funnel still.
Do not try to grind into the bowl while it is set into the Waterpipe's mouthpiece. This could cause an accident, and herb will not fall into the bowl since it the bowl is at an angle when inside the mouthpiece.
Using with the Handpipe Bowl
First, insert the Funnel into the lower portion of the Grinder Middle.
Either hold the Handpipe as shown, or place the bowl onto the magnetic cap to hold it upright. Place the Grinder Middle on top of the Handpipe bowl, so that the silicone snugly attaches around the outside rim of the bowl.
Pack nugs into the top portion of the Grinder Middle, then place the Grinder Top onto it. Press down and turn until the Grinder Top spins freely. Pull the Grinder away, and give it a small shake while it is still above the bowl to make any herb that is still in the Funnel fall into the bowl.
Make sure to keep the Grinder oriented vertically, so that herb falls directly down and not to the side as you grind.
Cleaning & Care
Do not place in the dishwasher. High heat will cause the magnets to lose strength.
Wash with warm soapy water routinely. Resin will build up inside from grinding, and cleaning will help the Grinder spin smoothly again. If needed, soak the parts in isopropyl alcohol before scrubbing, which further helps release resin.
