Magnetic Cap

Made of silicone rubber, with a magnet embedded inside so it stays attached to the Bowl.

Place the Cap on the bottom of the Bowl to hold it steady when loading.

Cap the top of the Bowl when taking some herb to-go. This will contain the smell inside in-between sessions.
Smoke Tool

Use it to tamp down herb inside the bowl, scoop ash out, and poke through clogs.

Holster the Smoke Tool inside the end of the Mouthpiece in-between sessions.

When it's time to clean inside the bowl, use the Smoke Tool to disassemble the ceramic inner bowl from the steel outer bowl.

Filters and Screens
Filters and screens block particulates and harmful compounds in smoke from being inhaled.
Although the Handpipe smokes fine without them, we recommend using one of the two because they make hits more enjoyable, and leave you with an easier to clean pipe. Try both to see which you prefer.

Carbon Filters

These provide the smoothest hit for the Handpipe. Bamboo charcoal pellets inside remove harmful compounds and particulates from smoke as it passes through.

Detach the Mouthpiece, and insert a Filter into the end. The Filter should ideally be replaced every other session for best tasting hits. Restock with a pack of 60 Carbon Filters from our shop when you run out.

Screens

Our Screens block fine particulates from passing through the Bowl. Install them in the Bowl using the Smoke Tool to poke it down into the hole at the bottom. The Screen should be replaced when air can no longer pass through easily. Use the Smoke Tool to remove the Inner Bowl when inserting and removing Screens from it.

Session Tips
Tamp your Bowl

Once you've loaded, the next step is to pack herb down so it is compact. This helps ensure the ember burns evenly as you puff.
Using the Carb

If your Bowl has a hole on the side, that is the Carb or Carburetor. This air-intake allows you to clear smoke from inside the pipe at the end of your hit.

Begin smoking with your thumb covering the Carb. When you are ready to inhale the last of the smoke at the end of your hit, remove your thumb from over the carb.
Cornering the Bowl

When you light your bowl, move the flame to the edge of the Bowl to spark only one corner of the herb at a time.

Cornering makes it easier to control how much you burn at a time, and allows you to continue to hit fresh herb with each new hit from a new corner.
Ashing with the Cap

The Cap has a dished surface inside, to catch ash as you knock it loose from the Bowl. Place the Cap on the Bowl, then tap the Bowl face down onto a table a few times to knock the ash loose. Remove the Cap with the pipe still turned over, then discard the ash that's gathered inside.

Capping the Handpipe

Carry the Handpipe with both ends capped, and enjoy less aromas from the pipe lingering in your bag or pocket.

Cleaning
Clean your Handpipe as often as you can - doing so will refresh the taste and make smoke more enjoyable.

The Handpipe disassembles so you can easily clean the inside by wiping it out with cotton swabs and alcohol.
Handpipe Cleaning
Cleaning Supplies

Isopropyl Alcohol - Helps loosen resin that is stuck to surfaces

Cleaning Jar - Use as a reservoir for soaking parts

Cotton Swabs - Dip these into alcohol then scrub the inside of the bowl and mouthpiece

Disassembling the Bowl

Use the Smoke Tool to pry the Inner Bowl out from the Outer Bowl. Simply press the Inner Bowl back into place by hand afterwards.
Wood Mouthpieces

Do not use alcohol on the Wood part of either the Walnut or Ebony style mouthpieces. When cleaning these, scrub only with alcohol inside the channel where smoke passes through. Alcohol will degrade the finish.

Do not wash the Wood Mouthpieces in a dishwasher. Doing so will degrade the finish.
